Are you struggling with feeling like you are not enough as a parent, partner, family member, or friend? Do you often find yourself sad, worried, or overwhelmed? Do you ever feel like no one truly listens to you and your problems are minimized by others? I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help, and I believe everyone should be heard and accepted without judgement.
I work with adults who have a variety of presenting concerns. My passions include treating depression, anxiety, stress related to chronic illness, medical trauma, perinatal mental health concerns, and parenting/caregiving issues. It is extremely important to me to offer an inclusive and accessible space. Everyone is welcome here!
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (IA #082973). I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa and a Bachelor’s Degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services from Iowa State University. I have extensive training and experience in the field of perinatal mental health.
I know it can be very difficult to reach out for help. Please know that I am here to help you, and you may contact me if you have any questions or concerns about starting therapy. I look forward to hearing from you!
